Boot Breakdown: The Reebok Krios
It’s difficult to find a solid waterproof boot that still offers exceptional comfort. Most boots featuring premium GORE-TEX waterproof technology are stiff, heavy and unbearably stuffy if worn in hot weather. But not anymore—Reebok partnered with GORE to change the way we think about waterproof boots.
Allow us to introduce you to the Reebok Krios. What’s revolutionary about this boot is that it’s outfitted with GORE-TEX Extended Comfort technology. Instead of the typical bootie construction found in most waterproof boots, the Krios boasts a single-wall GORE-TEX construction. A highly breathable GORE-TEX fabric is fused to the upper in one layer in order to reduce bulk and keep feet cool and comfortable.
The boot is capped off with a Reebok MeraMAX outsole. Designed specifically for military and law enforcement, the tread is four times more abrasion resistant than rubber. Plus it’s both slip-resistant and oil-resistant.
