The Magnum RD Pants were light, breathable and worked perfectly for my needs. I was able to work in them comfortably in damp weather, and I felt like they had a good amount of room in the legs to move around.
These pants have a unique fit though. I wore two sizes up in the waist from what I usually wear in jeans, but like I said before, the legs never felt too baggy or too tight while moving around and working in them. Normally when trying a new brand you’ll have to figure out the sizing and may have to move up or down a size, so you have to be a little accommodating to new pants.
Most of the pockets and other features seemed well placed and usable. The cargo pocket even fit my iPhone, which I could appreciate. I like the look and design more than most other tactical pants. Generally tactical pants are fairly high-waisted, but these are not. The fabric was perfect for working in cool, damp weather; some similar fabrics can feel hot and muggy in warmer conditions, but I haven’t noticed that issue with these pants.
Overall, I really liked these pants. My only suggestion would be to consider ordering a waist size up since they seem to fit tighter than most jeans/slacks.
These pants will be available for purchase on TacticalPants.com later this month.
